Minneapolis, September 2008

The Polish Saturday School in Minneapolis enters another year of work in 2008/2009.

We sincerely welcome everyony to the family, as the entire community is in a sense its own family and exists because of family.

Students and teachers are often bound by blood. It is the memory of these ties – deep blood ties that bind us to family in Poland – that is the main engine for the school’s work.

We meet for Saturday activities in order to learn the language of our ancestors in Poland in order for us to have our own tie, built upon communication in the Polish language.

In this struggle we are supported by the family from Nazaret, which forms a greater unity through faith in one God, language and the ties of love.

We also ask St. Paul – this year’s Patron – to help us garner a deeper desire for unity: "Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all” (Eph 4, 3-6).
