We encourage you to book the weekend of November 11 and 12, because there will be a lot going on in the Polish community in Minnesota! The fifth Independence Run will take place on Saturday (details on the attached poster, link to registration below). On Sunday, after the Polish Holy Mass in the Church of the Holy Cross, at around 1 p.m., in the Kolbe Hall, a solemn Academy will be held to celebrate the Polish Independence Day, prepared by children and teachers from the Polish Saturday School in Minneapolis. This year, both the Independence Run and Sunday’s Independence Day celebrations will be attended by the Consul from the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chicago. We cordially invite not only people associated with the Polish School, but the entire Polish community in Minnesota to take part in this event-filled weekend. Let’s show that there may not be many Poles in Minnesota, but we are a strong and cohesive group that cultivates our culture and traditions!
