Dear Parents!
We are pleased to announce that we are opening registration for BIWAK (Camp) 2023, one of the most popular events at the Polish School. This year’s camp will take place between May 26th and 29th (Memorial Day Weekend) at Sibley State Park in Minnesota. Please fill in the registration form below no later than by May 20th and indicate exactly from when to when (how many days) you will be camping. The cost of camping is $50 per adult and $35 per child. This year, in addition to common breakfasts, bigos and sausage for supper, the Parental Committee from PSS will also offer lunch on Saturday and Sunday for all participants of the campsite. It will be a traditional Polish dinner. If there are people who have special dietary requirements, of course you will be able to use the kitchen to prepare your own meal.
Camping is primarily an event in the bosom of nature and an opportunity to integrate families associated with PSS and the Polish community in Minnesota. We encourage all families to take advantage of this nice option offered by the school. In addition to the opportunity of spending time outdoors, eating some tasty food, having conversations and singing by the campfire, various games and competitions with prizes for children will be prepared. There is always at least one Holy Mass at the camp. The exact plan of the camping and the allocation of families to individual houses will be sent closer to the date of the camp, after the registration is closed.
The deadline for the payment for camping is May 20th. We kindly ask you to scrupulously observe the deadlines and not postpone fees to a later date. The fee must be paid to the treasurer, Mrs. Julia Weir. It is almost the end of the school year and camping will not be a good opportunity to keep additional accounting. Let’s make sure that everyone has time for well-deserved relaxation.
